The language of love

Just when I thought the French couldn't draw my attention as voraciously as they did during my "Amelie" spiel, a new obsession surfaces. A woman by the name of "Julie Delpy".

The film series "Before sunrise", & "Before sunset" follows the story of an American and French student meeting each other by chance, and eventually falling madly in love. Julie Delpy stars as the French student.

Julie Delpy's role in that film cannot be labeled as simply "acting", it was if she wrote her own lines in the script. Maybe this is just one of those roles one was meant to do. Her passion during her rants almost felt real, her breaking voice heightening every emotion.

The hopeless romanticism her character inhibits reflect my insecurities. Her voice acting was remarkable, her "French influenced" English, enhanced my attraction to her. The way she spoke the English language with change of inflections, and rhythms, were enchanting.

Her realism so profound, never adhering to the false promises of life. French women seem to be my weakness. I love their language, their minds, their being. The romance and zeal that is portrayed they all have.

These two films have given me my outlook on French women. Let me bask in my naïveté and build an imaginary French romance. Below is a video of my favorite Julie Delpy scene from "After Sunset", please watch it!!!

Molded

Ecstasy permeates the atmosphere exuding from the Corinne Bailey Rae "seasons change" track. Her soft, seductive, soulful, voice resembling the enchanting Siren's call. Requited intoxication of this soothing melody urges my being to be at ease.

The mesmerising enchantress able to vocalise in perfect pitches, and speak eloquently in any interview. Her soulful, ethnic edge so inviting, arousing an attraction to the fledgling writer.

His newfound love for intelligence began to bloom into the "sapiosexual" being. Intelligent women are gems, the mind is a beautiful thing.
