Emotional Respite

We all have a specific method used to calm our eradic thoughts and wavering hearts. After watching the French film "Amelie", as unorthodox and impractical as the film was, it still had an enormous impact on me. As I watched this romantic comedy, I couldn't help but to be captivated by the acting, moral concept, and especially the soundtrack.

Composed by Yann Tiersen, the soundtrack to this film is simply superb. In fact I'm listening to it as I type now. There is honestly no way I could explain the emotions that run rampant through me whilst listening.

The 2hr long compilation have even urged me to attempt learning the piano. Each song is almost like a different emotion in itself. I enjoy the fluid mood swings they guide me through, and the peace I endure whilst listening. "Amelie" has become one of my top 5 favorite films not because of the plot or the actors, but because of the soundtrack. Cheers Yann Tiersen.
